Electronic equipment: Up-to-date proof of guarantee required for 2018

Every year, stiftung EAR requires companies that sell electronic equipment in the B2C sector to provide a valid guarantee. If this guarantee is not updated, the ElektroG prohibits the sale of the company’s products. Avoid incurring additional charges when stiftung EAR notifies you of the need to supply proof of guarantee. Under the new schedule of fees, such a notification will now cost you 342.50 euros. In the worst case, stiftung EAR may even block your registration.
