Due to on the new Open Scope categories, elections for the Board of Trustees were held at Stiftung EAR in October and November 2019. Anja Olsok from Bitkom was elected as chairwoman for product areas 5 and 6. She can therefore continue to represent the industry and manufacturers’ interests in the EAR Advisory Board. Background: The Advisory Board has a supervisory and advisory function with respect to Stiftung EAR. During the past six years on the Advisory Board, Anja Olsok, member of the executive board of Bitkom e.V., previously represented the interests of the companies in former product area 3, "Information and telecommunications technology equipment". Due to Open Scope and the transition to the new types of equipment, a new election was necessary.
